Plant-based diets are growing in popularity and after trying a whole foods plant-based diet ourselves for 30 days, I can understand why! The best part about adopting healthier eating habits as parents is that Hudson seemed to catch onto the trend as well and now we have a toddler who LOVES his fruits and veggies!
Since partaking in the Thirty Day Vegan Challenge, we have taken a lot of what we learned and continue to apply it to every day life! We stay away from dairy products and keep our meat consumption to a minimum! We gained a new appreciation for whole and unprocessed foods and their ability to provide our bodies with everything they need without the toxins, bad cholesterol and unnecessary additives that come with the traditional American diet.
